dang can you believe it i got stopped for speeding on my scoot
i was going 40 in a 30 didnt get a ticket thank god
he clocked me right before the speed limit jumps to 45
how do you explain to the boss that you got a ticket on your scooter(i am a cdl driver so i have to inform the company of all moving violation) even worse telling the wife i have to spend money on a ticket
he seemed a bit shocked that i was going that fast and said he had to shoot me 3 times to make sure it was right
i personally think he just wanted a better look at my scoot i could have been going that fast but im not sure i just go with the flow of traffic till i cant keep up

Whew, glad you did not get a ticket! If you were going with the flow and he clocked you at 40, then my guess is he stopped you to take a better look at your scoot. Hopefully the cop will go out and get himself a scooter too. But anyway, I am very glad you did not get a ticket. It would have been a royal PITA.

Daaaang, I always ride WOT the whole time regardless of speed limit. I wonder if I should follow the speeed limit???

same here as senor, i always drive WOT. i didn't think a scooter would get pulled over for speeding since that's usually the only way to still keep people off your butt. at least you didn't get a ticket!!

well when i rode thru the area today i noticed that the 30 mph zone is now longer and there are orange flags on the new speed limit signs

no, now they are supposed to be enforcing over 35=motorcycle and under=scooter. So if your going over 35 then they can get you with no license and insurance for motorcycles

Yeah, one of the reasons I don't ride the vino around much i wonder if they would enforce reckless driving tickets on a scooter like they do on a car if you're going over by a huge amount? b/c that would probably happen to the vino.. lol |
