Not complaining but I got scared when I saw it because I thought it was a parking ticket lol >.> The name is Dawna and I'm living in Miami. I've had my little yellow scooter for about 2 months now and parked outside the Target in Midtown when someone left an ad for this forum on my handlebar. Who's doing the site whoring around here?  |

LOL ah-HA! It's ok, I don't really mind I'm an internet geek so naturally I had to stop by plus the suspense was driving me insane lol. So long as it wasn't a ticket I'm happy... I got ticketed around that area about a month ago and I was really pissed about that. And thank you for the birthday wishes  I just got pounded on by that rainstorm we had earlier. |

Glad to have you here. Did you get a parking ticket?  ? I park my scoot there all the time and I am always in fear of being ticketed. As for the rain storms we had, there was some impressive thunder and lighning! |

Thank you Tortuga I hope this place gets more people. Glad to have you here. Did you get a parking ticket? ? I park my scoot there all the time and I am always in fear of being ticketed. As for the rain storms we had, there was some impressive thunder and lighning! Yeah I ran into Circuit City to buy Guitar Hero III and came back out and some jerk officer put a ticket on my speedometer, reasoning that I had it up on the sidewalk. What the fuck. I sure hope they're more lenient about parking near Target, because I've been parking my scooter near the bikes or in the space the dividers are. Technically, they can ticket you just like they would a car, particularly if you're in a parking space (many people are careful to park on the white line between spaces). |

at the Wal-Mart here, senor and i saw a scooter getting ticketed and it was parked in between the handicapped signs that mark off those spaces but the scooter was completely out of the way and not in the handicapped spaces.. we never figured out why it got a ticket, but luckily we've never gotten one b/c we park like that all the time

Thanks everyone  My ride is a 2006 Qian Dino, 50cc 2-stroke... bought it a year used for $500 from a nice Indian couple in Kendall, FL and it came with my ridiculous red helmet (haha) and some oil. Ironically, one of my co-workers has the same thing except it's older and blue... she hates hers though and had a fit when she saw me with my Dino. I like it a lot though, it's soooo loud compared to other scooters, especially all the Venuses and Metropolitans I see cruising around in South Beach. It certainly gets me some attention. I've named it Bumblebee too since my mom said that's what it reminded her of and then ya know, I love Transformers haha |
