Sorry it took so long for me to respond to this. I have ended up missing a few threads because of the way these forums display what posts are new. We are now at 46 threads over 190 posts and 15 members.

Personally my fav is the 240G followed by the 249, we never got to mess with many of the bigger machine guns only the ol duece and once the mark 19.
The whole first week was dedicated to MCMAP and depending on when you left the corps they may have still had line fighting. I moved up a rank to grey belt in MCMAP and I have never worked so hard for something that holds up my pants in my life.
The second was COC (combat operations center) trianing. I do computer networking so im in the 06 field and don't get to see the big guns off the tanks.

i wasnt in the corp i was in the army so i have no idea what mcmap is for the first part i was a tanker then i changed skills to combat medic being i was a tanker i got to go and help out a lot as a range medic when they were doing gunnery and always managed to swindel some seat time in the tanks there is nothing like it squeezing off a big round on a main gun the 240 is a nice mg too we used a varation as coax mg in the tanks

ahh you were a soldier. I was talking to someone else who was in the corps. MCMAP is the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, its kinda like MMA with some Tae Kwon Do and Judo as well as armed combat.
