The people who sold me my scooter told me it got 60mpg... but doing the math in my head today while out on the road I've been getting 96 mpg!! Pretty awesome if you ask me I spend about $4 a week giving Bumblebee Plus or Premium gas and then there's the $12 oil I have to get every couple months. How do yours fare with today's crazy gas prices?

I get about 65 to the gallon on my stock 02 Yamaha Zuma. Yamaha claims 123 for the 08's, everyone Ive heard from gets less than 80, but hey, until the government cracks down on scooter mileage ratings, I guess they can get away with it.

I am getting between 93 and 100 mpg on my 2006 Met. Since I have only had to put gas in it three or four times, I am still waiting to come up with a more accurate average. I did start out with higher mpg when I first got my Met because since I did not know how to ride, I was going slow down side streets, but once I got comfortable, I go full speed ahead and have been taking much longer trips like to south beach and hollywood, fl so I am sure that my milage will decrease a bit.

I got 138 mpg on my second tank of gas, but I think that was a fluke, because I was still driving noobie-slow. As I've gotten more comfy with driving and going faster, my mileage has gone down a bit, but I haven't checked it lately. I know it's still over 100 mpg though.

i haven't done any calculations or writing down my mileage but just by remembering in between tanks how many miles i have driven is usually a little over 100 mpg, so i'm definitely happy with that.

The following link is from a post on urbanscootin.com and is an example of one of the spreadsheets that this member uses to track his mpg. Not sure if it'll be helpful to anyone, but thought I would share it. spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... 0ZAg&hl=en

Don't forget he's got a 2stroke and we got 4strokes, so his uses up more gas than ours

yep i burn more fuel with the two stroke but i am also riding at least 60 miles every day and the fact that there are no gas stations right by my house i dont want to take the chance of running out if i take the long way home (the way that goes any where but home) i have gone 125 miles before filling up

Well, went to the gas station and filled her up, got 93 mpg two fill-ups in a row. Looks like that is going to be my average. And I ain't complainin! There was a guy next to me with a 49cc Chinese scooter who finished pumping when I got there and he told me he was getting 90 mpg. Not bad if you ask me.
