I removed the stand lock latch, Yellow handle with Phillips screw I removed the 4 bolts holding the seat/storage box down remove the seat/storage box and set aside. I got a good source of light to really see what I was doing. The restrictor is a metal plate with a green gasket attached to it at the manifold, parts 11 and 12 the two bolts, parts 18 need to be removed. their is alot of stuff around them that make them difficult to remove. This is where you just need patience. I used an open end wrench and could only turn them a small amount each time before having to readjust the wrench. Eventually they will come out. One of them was easier than the other. Once bolts are removed, I used a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the exposed edge of restrictor plate and attached green gasket and it slid right out. You do not have to reinstall the green gasket, as the manifold has a oring seal, part 14 put the bolts back in. Get them both started before tightening them up. I had to jiggle the manifold around a little to get the bolts threaded. hope this helps, I noticed better performance after a couple miles of riding. Definitely worth doing.
