well the bulb blew in the tv too the worst part is i called a few places to get a new one rca says its on back order with no ship date but i did find one locally for 200 bucks i think they are gouging me a bit as they must know its on backorder 160 plus shipping from rca for crying out loud 200 dollars for a fricking light bulb boy you pay the price to by a big screen and then they kill you on the parts

That is amazing. That is alot of money for a bulb, what is that bulb made of, premium gasoline?

i dont know but the first few places other then rca i called wanted me to bring the bulb in because the part number wasnt in there system and they so they could match it up they claimed to be rca service centers it is dlp hd tv so it only needs one bulb to do what it used to take 3 on the older projection tvs and there is mercury and some other funky stuff inside the bulb and i have to turn the old bulb in like a core im sure thats so the mercury dont end up in the landfill the part is the bulb and the plastic that holds the bulb in the tv
