In addition to my Honda, I also have a 2005 Avanti Beta 50. Right now, it is broken down but I'm not sure why. We've checked the spark plugs but any suggestions would be helpful.

with all of senordongatos scoot wrenching abillty its not running
you must have 3 things compression spark and fuel so the million dollar question is which one of these are missing

Compression, not sure of. Spark, replaced plug but never pulled and confirmed. Also batt is probably dead. Fuel, so old I'm sure it's separated. I need to drain and run some cleaner through there. Any suggestions on cleaner? Sea Foam(?) was a cleaner I think I heard working. Also the intake manifold dried out and cracked which I know is leaning the a/f mix. Maybe this weekend well see what we can do. |

ive used sea foam and never had any problems
as for checking fot spar ive found that the cheap spark tool that you can get at harbor freight wroks gret you just hook it inline between plug and wire and watch for the light easyer and safer then trying to ground out to the frame

oh not hf is nothing like tractor supply hf just sells tools they have a web site they used to be mail order only
any parts store should have that tester
i wish we would get a tractor supply in green bay i have to hit that place every time im in chilton or marintett
