Hi everyone, I just joined and have been looking around. This looks like a fun place to hang out. I purchased my first scooter almost two weeks ago and have been riding like crazy. I have never been on a scooter before so it has taken some getting used to. Although there are some things that I am still trying to figure out about riding, I feel confidant and relaxed. Just passed the 100 mile mark on my scoot and put gas in for the first time. Yeah, I know small milestones, but I am having a blast! I have a 2006 Metropolitan Salsa that I bought new from a dealer who had it sitting on his lot for over two years! After a quick check up and test ride, I was able to purchase it at a discount. My other obsessions are my 1977 AMC Gremlin, my 1974 Mercedes 450SL and of course my freakdog Churro. Hope to add some pics and more messages in the near future. Thanks!!

Welcome to the site! Glad to have someone here for the south. I bet it's nice riding down there in the nice weather. You should definitely post some pictures of your scooter!

Welcome! Glad you made it here. Where did you hear about us? Im going to guess from urbanscootin since you have a met. Now when you say metropolitan salsa, is that a certain type of met or is that the color? Glad to hear you having a blast on your scoot and congrats on hitting the 100 mile mark, next is 500. Post pics of your other rides as well, and the freakdog!

Hey, thanks for the welcomes, Miami is great for year round scooting, although we have been getting some rain lately, it has not been bad. Salsa is the color of the scoot, which is really red. I found you guys from Urbanscootin, scooter_girl on that site has a link to this board on her signature line, and me being nosy.... well the rest as they say, is history (whoever they are). Having a blast! Thanks!!
