If you can manage that, it would be way cool. I got a helmet cam just so that I can do that, but the darn thing doesn't work. If you do it, please post the video! ;D

i did get a make shift mount taken care of a recorded some of my ride home but i got home late so i wont get to down load the vid tonight but i snapped some pics of the mount with the cell the down side to this way is i had to take the mirror of the scoot to put the bracket on and i just so happened to have this bracket laying around from something i didnt use it on it needs some work but i think the idea is right it needs to be shoter and not have that big slot in the center ill have to didg aroung and see if i have a piece of flat stock laying around and drill some holes in it as for putting the cam on the bracket i just used a bolt i had that was the right size to fit the cam

Shortening should make the video steadier. Is it possible to hook it up to a bar clamp? Maybe something like this will work better. Since it sits closer to the handle bar, there is less chance of shaking. A bicycle store may carry them.

I've seen that a lot of bike vloggers attack their cams inside of their helmets. Some use velcro and stick it to the insideof the visor, while others use foam and create a pocket between the cheek padding infront of the mouth.

If you do it, please post the video! ;D The worst thing about helmet cams is trying to line them up to record in the right direction/angle. My friend had one that we would attach to our helmets during the machine gun ranges and the .50 and the 240G would shake the camera down.

No it was a long trip out to the range so around night time we started heading back. No one wants to drive through a Djiboution village at night.

It sounds like it would be a good way of attaching the cam to the ff helmet.
