Hi everyone! I just found this board. I've already joined up at some of the other boards. I'm so excited about my new Honda Met that I bought at the end of June that I barely get any work done at work, for surfing all the discussion boards.
I am 49 years old (for a few more months) and live in New Orleans. I've got about 500 miles on my Met and it's the first one I've ever owned. I'll drive it just about anywhere, anytime.
I'm looking forward to "meeting" some of you that I haven't already met on other boards.

I know exactly what you mean when you say that you cannot wait to get home from work to surf all the discussion boards...I do the same, except sometimes I log on from work adn post (shhh don't tell anybody  ) I see from your avatar that you have added some stickers to your scoot. Make sure to take some pic and post them, I would love to see them. And again, welcome, hope to see you posting and enjoying our conversations. |

Welcome to the forum! And I agree with both of you, I spend a ton of time at work with the forums open.. I just don't want to miss anything! Be sure to post some pics of your Met!

Thanks y'all! I'm mostly just happy to find boards where everyone doesn't look DOWN on the Honda Metropolitans. ;D

I drive a 2008 Ocean Met. Bought it brand new in April and now have 1,085 miles on it.

i know im not the only zuma owner on here what is it with all these darn hondas
hope you love to scoot as much as the rest of us can wait to see pics of your met
ive got over 4000 on mine got her about the same time tt got her met i love to scoot and my ride to work is 60 round trip if i dont go for some extra scooting

actually most of my mileage has come from "joy rides" on the weekends because my work commute round trip is probably only 6 or 7 miles. either way, i just enjoy riding it a lot!

Welcome to the forum! You don't have to worry about anyone looking down on your met. Most people here have mets. I have a ruckus and a yamaha vino so there is some intermixing between the two makes.
