I have a semi-desk job. I am in charge of Emergency Preparedness and Safety Training at a large hospital in New Orleans. We were one of the only 3 hospitals here to stay open during and after Katrina.

well, I don't have any medical stuff at all. It's all just training and working with state and local authorities, working out evacuation plans and disaster plans and stuff like that.

No A/C for 4 days and we ran out of food after about 5 days. We were eating soup from a can and a tomato. Ask anyone who was there about that tomato. We'd wait in the lunch line for 30 minutes and they handed us a can of soup with a pop top and a raw tomato and a plastic spoon. We were happy to have it though.

Even with no medical training, the evacuation and disaster plans are usually what save lives because it makes everything else run smoothly.

My boss is the best too. I won't work for anyone but him. He really knows his stuff. He was in Washington DC last week speaking on Pandemic Flu plans. I've worked for him for 20 years.
Hey!!! I've got 2 Karmas. What does that mean?

Karma is basically saying like "hey good job, we like your posts" and you can exalt people or take their karma away... it's just a fun feature
