When I bought my met, I was thinking I only need to get a helmet. Since then I have spent an additional $995.00 dollars on the following items
2 Helmets 1 handle bar clock 1 leather riding jacket 1 kitaco variator 1 set of ncy rollers 1 set of clutch springs 1 10w40 oil 1 oil measuring cup 1 irriduim spark plug 1 roll pin stripes 1 inner basket 1 windshield
This is becoming an expensive hobby. but one I can not quit.
God help me when its time to buy a motorcycle.

wow yeah that is a lot of money but when you see that amount is stretched over all of those items then really it's much much cheaper than having to buy parts, like you said, for a motorcycle or even yet for a car.

I am in the same boat you are in except that I am to chicken to add up what I have spent. A couple f helmets, a rack for my scooter, a trunk to put on the rack (neither of which have arrived yet) and various stickers and miscellaneous stuff. But in my humble opinion, all worth it because I am having so much fun. ;D

I haven't really bought anything yet for my Met, just the helmet and oil. And gasoline, of course.
