definitely true.. i think thats the only thing missing on the scoot is a built in radio/cd player/ mp3..
do you think the manufacturers will ever include stereos like they do on the larger motorcycles? when my dad had his harley for about 2 years his harley had a nicer system that my 05 Corolla S

Something that you can plug your mp3 player into and have speakers built in. Since they don't do it. we have to make things up as we go along. |

if the popularity of scooters continues to increase then i'm sure eventually we'll get more advanced features, but i noticed on urbanscootin that tons of scooters are now for sale since its nearing the end of summer, which is a shame

I read those posts and I don't see it down here. Because of our weather, I think that scooter riding season here is really in the winter when the temp is milder and people love to be outdoors without melting from the heat of the sun. It is the same with convertibles. I rarely drive my convertible in the summer because it is so darn hot. But in the winter, it is so much fun. Just the opposite of you guys up north. |

Thats a good picture. How hard is it to ride in winter? Does the snow and the cold temp make it really uncomfortable?

i havent had mine a full year yet
i got her in april the pic was taken by someone else
but it was still very cold in april and i did get caught in the snow
if you dress for the weather its not that bad but your talking to a guy who works outside year round in green bay wi
a few years back we had a client form fl want to see us work the day he flew up was -20 before windchill -40 with chill the diesel fuel started to gel up while the rig was running
he couldnt understand that people still function in that cold weather
if its cold you just dress for it or you freeze its that simple

i don't mind to bundle up on the scooter. i wear a sweatshirt, ski jacket thats fleece lined, scarf, gloves.... just in general, i'm not a fan of cold weather, i much prefer the sunshine

I know im going to drop the ruckus while im playing in the snow. It slipps out so much in the mud so I'm sure the snow will only be worse.
